Your Guide will hand you both a hot coffee upon arrival, before setting you up in your kayaks and taking you through a safety briefing. Being a much smaller group than our earlier tours, your Guide will be able to take you as far as you are comfortable paddling and tailor the tour to suit your preferences. There’ll be plenty of time for photos and the option to stop to enjoy the views as often as you’d like.

Experience Sydney Harbour from a kayak and enjoy a fresh, hot coffee whilst paddling in the warm morning sun. Come for a leisurely paddle across Lavender Bay and along Sydney Harbours shoreline. Enjoy iconic views of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Luna Park and impressive Sydney city skyline, whilst you drink your morning coffee in your kayak. Departure times depend on the sunrise tour return time, which changes slightly throughout the year. Please check booking link for daily departure times.

Sydney harbour kayak tour

If you’d like to experience Sydney’s magnificent Harbour from the comfort of a kayak, but you’re not keen to wake up before the crack of dawn or paddle in a group, why not head out with Sydney by Kayak a little later and enjoy a morning coffee with your partner, without anyone else around (apart from your Guide).

Sydney Harbour is one of the busiest and most exciting harbours in the world! The iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House look spectacular, especially from a kayak! In the morning sun, everything looks so vibrant and colourful. Join your Guide and enjoy complimentary photos, Airdropped or emailed to you after the tour.

The time advertised on the schedule is the time you are required to arrive at the boat ramp. You will then get ready and be out on the water for around 1.5 hours. Once you are out on the water, enjoying your morning paddle, just when you think it can’t get any better.. you’ll have a fresh, hot coffee sitting inside a custom made coffee cup holder on the front of your kayak, so you can enjoy it as you take in the sights and sounds of Sydney Harbour.

You don’t need to be an experienced kayaker on this one as our kayaks are really stable and you will be instructed and guided by a professional Kayak Instructor, just the two of you! You will be taken through a safety briefing before departure and will be provided with all equipment needed for the paddle, including a single, glass bottom kayak with stable double keels and comfortable seats. We concentrate on the little things, such as great coffee, lots of iconic photos, plus plenty of time to stop and enjoy where you are.
