Couples Sunrise Kayak and Champagne Breakfast

Try Sydney by Kayak’s most exclusive kayak tour on Sydney Harbour, with just you and your loved one, plus an experienced Kayak Guide to keep you safe, show you the sites and capture picture perfect moments on camera for you to take away.

This romantic tour for two has it all. Your very own Guide, who will hand you your morning coffee to enjoy in your kayak as you watch the sunrise. A platter on the front of your kayak for your morning pastry, coffee and glass of bubbles (please note, the bubbles provided on the water are alcohol-free, but you can enjoy real bubbles with your champagne breakfast at the waterfront café after the tour).
There’ll be plenty of time for photos and the option to stop to enjoy the views as often as you’d like. Experience Sydney Harbour from a kayak, before the rest of the city wakes up. The water is usually flat, glassy and simply stunning at this time of day.

The launch location for this tour is different to all of Sydney by Kayak’s other tours, which are in Lavender Bay. This adds to the exclusivity of this private experience. You’ll meet your Guide next to the Ensemble theatre entrance on McDougall Street (famous for its stunning Jacaranda trees in bloom in November). We recommend bringing minimal belongings as your final destination will be the café for breakfast, although a large dry-bag can be provided for handbags and belongings.

Depending on your experience and wishes, your Guide can take you as far as you are comfortable paddling, enjoying views of Sydney’s main harbour, the Sydney Opera House, Sydney’s famous city skyline, the Botanical Gardens, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Luna Park and Fort Denison. If you are more happy just paddling at a leisurely pace and taking lots of photos, that is totally up to you. If you’d prefer a longer kayaking experience with fewer stops, that can also be catered for. You can even kayak under the Sydney Harbour Bridge on this tour!

Once the sun is up and you have all the memories and photos you want, your Guide will take you to a small beach in Neutral Bay, where you will be dropped off for your morning champagne breakfast, overlooking the water. A table with water views will be reserved for you on the balcony, so you can sit and reminisce about your Sydney Harbour experience. Order anything you want from the menu, including your glass of real Italian bubbles. No set-menus here! Enjoy a 5 star Sydney by Kayak experience.

The time advertised on the schedule is the time you are required to arrive at the Ensemble Theatre entrance. You will then get ready and be out on the water for around 1.5 Top recommended breakfast cafes after kayaking with Sydney by Kayakhours. There’s no rush at all with your breakfast. Your Guide will airdrop or email all the photos from your tour, direct to your phone or email address, then they’ll say farewell, so you can enjoy time alone with your loved one.

You don’t need to be an experienced kayaker on this one as our kayaks are really stable and you will be instructed and guided by a professional Kayak Guide, just the two of you. You will be taken through a safety briefing before departure and will be provided with all equipment needed for the paddle, including a single kayak with stable double keels and comfortable seats. We concentrate on the little things, such as great coffee, lots of iconic photos, plus plenty of time to stop and enjoy where you are.

What’s included in the tour:
All equipment hire, including a single sit-inside Grifinn Kayak, paddle and life-jacket.
A qualified, friendly and experienced Kayak Guide/Instructor.
An exclusive, small group of just 3 people, including your Guide.
