If you’d like a more exclusive paddle on Sydney Harbour at sunrise, with just you and your loved one or friend, plus an experienced Kayak Guide to keep you safe and show the sites, this tour is for you!
Your Guide will hand you both a hot coffee upon arrival, before setting you up in your kayaks and taking you through a safety briefing. Being a much smaller group than our other tours, your Guide will be able to take you as far as you are comfortable paddling and tailor the tour to suit your preferences and ability.
There’ll be plenty of time for photos and the option to stop to enjoy the views as often as you’d like. Experience Sydney Harbour’s spectacular sunrise from a kayak and enjoy a fresh, hot coffee whilst paddling in the early morning sun.
Enjoy a leisurely paddle across Lavender Bay and along Sydney Harbours shoreline. Paddle in front of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge with incredible views of the Sydney Opera House and Luna Park with an impressive Sydney city skyline in the background, whilst you drink your morning coffee in your kayak. Please check booking link for daily departure times.
Sydney Harbour is one of the busiest and most exciting harbours in the world! The iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House look spectacular, especially from a kayak! In the morning sun, everything looks so vibrant and colourful. Join your Guide and enjoy complimentary photos, Airdropped or emailed to you after the tour.
The time advertised on the schedule is the time you are required to arrive at the boat ramp. You will then get ready and be out on the water for around 1.5 hours. Once you are out on the water, enjoying your morning paddle, just when you think it can’t get any better.. you’ll have a fresh, hot coffee sitting inside a custom made coffee cup holder on the front of your kayak, so you can enjoy the serenity of Sydney Harbour.
You don’t need to be an experienced kayaker on this one as our kayaks are really stable and you will be instructed and guided by a professional Kayak Instructor, just the two of you! You will be taken through a safety briefing before departure and will be provided with all equipment needed for the paddle, including a single sit-in kayak with stable double keels and comfortable seats. We concentrate on the little things, such as great coffee, lots of iconic photos, plus plenty of time to stop and enjoy where you are.
We do our best to ensure an incredible Wow! factor on all of our tours, but please note, we cannot control the weather. If the weather forecast is not ideal for the sunrise tour, we generally cancel the tour the day before, so you don’t set an early alarm clock. Reschedules and full refunds are offered in these circumstances.
We also don’t guarantee paddling under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. During our warmer months, we paddle under the bridge as the sun rises very early and we have plenty of time before the ferries start. As the sun starts to rise later from February onwards, it depends on the capabilities of the paddlers and is at the Guides discretion and their decision is final. During our cooler months, our sunrise tour is an enjoyable paddle around Goat Island or Sawmillers Reserve, where we can enjoy the sunrise whilst still enjoying the warmth of the winter sun, but we don’t go under the bridge until November rolls around again. We do still guarantee great photos with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House in the background. We just don’t guarantee going under it.
