For over 12 years, Sydney By Kayak has been helping locals, corporates, and visitors experience the magic of Sydney Harbour while giving back to the environment. We’re proud to open the doors to our next chapter: The SBK Eco Hub in McMahons Point.

A hub for our community

It's a place for our neighbours, local schools, corporate groups and visitors to our beautiful city to come together. It’s a third space that's not home and not work, but a place to connect with a community striving to do better.

A place to gather: It’s a welcoming space to relax after a Sunrise Kayak and Coffee tour, chat with our passionate team, or connect with others who share a love for the harbour.

Hands-on learning: We host engaging, practical workshops that bring sustainability to life in a fun, meaningful and accessible way.

Make a real impact: The Eco Hub is the centre of our conservation efforts, from selling eco conscious products, to creating a desired venue for events, to inspiring the next generation of harbour heroes.

Reshaping Waste Workshops: Our Eco Hub is a hive of positive action. A key highlight is our partnership with the amazing team from Reshaping Waste, who run engaging plastic recycling workshops right here in the hub. It’s a joy to see people of all ages learn about the circular economy by transforming plastic waste into new and useful items. We're always planning new community events and school excursions to share our passion for the harbour's amazing ecosystems.

As a business that believes in connection, we know how important it is to build an inspired team.

Our Eco Hub serves as the perfect launchpad for our unique corporate team building experiences that go beyond the boardroom to create a lasting, positive impact. From here, we run our three signature corporate experiences: the Corporate Clean-Up Paddle, the Harbour Reset Paddle, and the Dawn of a Better Team Paddle as well as offer the space for venue hire.

The Eco Hub is more than just a building to us, it's the culmination of over a decade of love and hard work from founders, Laura Stone and Benjamin Pike, who care deeply about Sydney Harbour and their local community. Every kayak tour, every clean-up, and every conversation is part of our commitment to protect this incredible environment for future generations.
